Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Football Challenge ("we", "us") is operated by Amblemead Ltd, a company registered in England. You can reach us at admin@amblemead.biz.

2. The service

Football Challenge lets you predict combined match statistics (goals, shots on target, corners, offsides and throw-ins) for FIFA World Cup fixtures and compare your scores against other players on daily and overall leaderboards. It is provided for entertainment only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register and use Football Challenge. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity carried out under your account.
• One account per person. We may suspend or delete duplicate or clearly fictitious accounts (for example display names matching automated test patterns).
• If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately using the "Reset password" option on the login page, and let us know.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Football Challenge for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
• scrape, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its data;
• impersonate any person, including other players or the administrator;
• upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory or harassing through any field of the service (including your display name).

6. Predictions, leagues and prizes

Football Challenge runs two leagues: a Daily League (one match-day) and an Overall League (the whole season). Once a prediction is submitted it is locked in and cannot be edited. Each season may be operated as either free play or paid entry — never both at the same time. Prizes may be issued to top finishers in either format, at the operator's discretion.

Free play. Where free play is enabled, you can predict any match-day without paying and you will appear in the Daily and Overall leagues. Prizes for free-play seasons, if any, are awarded at the operator's discretion and are not guaranteed.

Paid entry — charitable donation model.

• When paid entry is enabled, you must pay the entry fee shown on the predictions page before you can submit predictions for that match-day. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). You will receive a receipt by email.
• Entry fees are charitable donations. Each entry fee paid is donated to a charity designated by Amblemead Ltd (the operator). The designated charity for the current season is displayed on the predictions page and on your payment receipt. Amblemead Ltd may retain only such portion of the entry fee as is reasonably required to cover (a) payment-processing fees charged by Stripe and (b) the prize fund described below; the balance is paid to the designated charity.
• The prize fund and split (e.g. "winner takes all", "50% / 30% / 20%", "day winner 50% · 50% to end-of-league pot") is shown to you before you contribute. It is fixed at the time of payment and will not change for that match-day.
• Prizes may be paid in cash or in kind and are manually paid out by Amblemead Ltd to the winners after the relevant match-day or at the end of the league season. We aim to issue prizes within 14 days. We may request additional details (payment account, identity verification) before issuing a prize.
• No refunds. Contributions are non-refundable once paid. If you do not submit a prediction before the match-day kicks off, your contribution will be carried forward as a credit you can apply to a future paid match-day; the underlying donation to the designated charity is final.

Age requirement. You must be 18 years of age or older to register or use any part of the service. We may suspend or close accounts of users we believe to be under 18 and forfeit any associated entry fees.

Responsible play. Set yourself limits. If you feel your participation is causing harm, stop and seek support (e.g. begambleaware.org). We may close your account at our discretion if we believe continued play would be harmful.

Admin's decision is final.

7. Intellectual property

The Football Challenge name, logo, design and code are owned by Amblemead Ltd. Match information you enter remains yours but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it within the service so the league standings function.

8. Service availability

Football Challenge is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that match data will be accurate. We may change, suspend or withdraw the service at any time without notice.

9. Our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage (including loss of data, loss of time, or disappointment with leaderboard outcomes) arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

10. Termination

You can stop using Football Challenge at any time and request that we delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or that we reasonably consider to be automated / test accounts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be flagged on the login page or the next time you sign in. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
